「BLACK, COLOR」 - 木村充伯とタン・ルイが2011年に発行したミニカタログのタイトルです。
「BLACK」は木村充伯をあらわします。彼は動物、人間、そして自然な色のものを作り出しています。 原始的で静かな色だと感じる人もいるでしょう。
「COLOR」 はタン・ルイをあらわします。彼女は洗濯バサミ、マスキングテープや印刷物の切り抜きなどを用いて、鮮やかな色の生き物を作ります。これらの鮮やかな色 は、昆虫や人間、生き物を誘惑することさえあります。「COLOR」つまり鮮やかに見える色彩は、レディメイドのものですので、それは存在として無害な無 色透明に近いです。一方で、ここでの「BLACK」は、様々な色の幅や重なりによって生まれる「BLACK」で、それはカラフルです。

black, color - Mitsunori KIMURA & TAN Ru Yi

“BLACK, COLOR” - is the title of the mini catalogue published by Mitsunori KIMURA and TAN Ru Yi, 2011.
“BLACK” stands for Mitsunori KIMURA. Kimura creates animals, human and something with natural color. It may be primitive and quiet color.
“COLOR” stands for TAN Ru Yi. Tan creates creatures with fancy color using clothe pegs, masking tapes and cut-outs from printed matters. The color attracts insects and human, living creatures as well. However, “BLACK” here is made from organic materials with actual color. It created “BLACK” into a real color by overlapping with various natural color. On the other hand, “COLOR” is color of ready-made materials hence it is considered a colorless.
